You should take with you:

• - strong shoes with a rough sole;
• - a warm sweater or a person who, if necessary, can keep warm;
• - flashlight (phonendoscope);
• - readiness to see bats (ghosts);
• - ten hryvnias.

There are only three such forts in the world. Two in France and one here in Tarakaniv. The grandiose fortification was erected during the Russian Empire. It took 15 years and almost 66 million tsarist rubles, equipped with the most modern technical innovations at the time - electricity, telephone and telegraph, but never used for its intended purpose. It is a whole military town with its streets, barracks, kitchen, bakery, infirmary, prison and church. But it was so well disguised that you can walk past the wall and not even notice. So if: it is interesting to see almost the only defense structure in Ukraine that survived World War I, and where at one time they wanted to shoot the Ukrainian analogue of the French "Keys to Fort Boillard";
